British Abuse Photos Probably Fakes

According to my favorite Danish news website, the photos showing British soldiers abusing an Iraqi prisoner are probably fakes. The soldiers in the photos have the wrong type of weapon, head gear, and vehicle. British authorities are continuing with their investigation.

The photos have already been circulated widely in the Middle East so I doubt that revelations that they are probably fakes will make much difference with regard to relations with the Arabic world. However, if the photos do turn out to be fakes, Blair may be off the hook a bit with his unruly back-benchers in the House of Commons.
