Well, he's kind of had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

State of the race -- 3 days to go

This is a daily feature of this blog. For further detail, please see this post.

StateRCPPollster538538 Win %
NV+6.5+5.9+3.384%
CO+6.2+7.1+6.394%
IN-0.5-0.6-0.644%
MO-0.6+1.9+0.152%
OH+5.6+6.3+3.586%
VA+6.0+7.2+6.296%
NC+1.3+1.8+1.265%
FL+4.2+2.7+2.174%

For the first time (that I've seen) 538 considers Colorado and Virginia "Safe Dem", not "Lean" or "Likely". I think that's about right at this late stage of the game. Of course, if Obama wins either of those states, the math becomes near-impossible for John McCain.

Can we end this thing already?

Apparently, Palin 2012 stickers are being spotted at McCain/Palin rallies. That is a sure sign of expected defeat.

Just a note: I see Colorado projected at +5.8% Obama "Likely Dem" and Virginia +5.4% Virginia "Likely Dem"

Well ... they were "safe" this morning ...

Seems like "safe" is not the best term, if that designation can be lost in a few hours! Perhaps "Strong" as they do on RCP would be a better description... Because apparently, no state is safe :-)

There is definite evidence of poll tightening today. It is hard to know if that is anything more than an aberration. What we do know is that polls continue to look very good for Obama despite all.

For those of us without 15 channels of pundits to choose from, what do you guys think is the best web resource for watching the election (other than The Citizens for comment of course)? And when are the figures likely to start coming in? Is anyone is Hawaii going to get to vote before it gets called?

If you want to see the Democratic cheering section go to Daily Kos or Daily Dish (see links to the right). Those will be good sites for check out for rumors and such.

For objective stuff you might go to Politico.

C-SPAN is a cable network that is so objective it's positively boring. Their website might be pretty good though (as far as waiting to report things until they are confirmed).

The other Cititzens may disagree of course.
