Well, he's kind of had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

McCain-Huckabee?

Imagine a McCain-Huckabee ticket. As a Presidential candidate, McCain would appeal to Independents; as VP Huckabee might be enough to draw in the evangelicals. The two men are getting chummy with each other these days. Could it be?

Generally, the top of the ticket dominates - duh. So if it were McCain on top and Huckabee as VP, any Democrat could just set up a debate about the war for 6 months and beat him up.

Of course Hilary would be the most vulnerable on this because not only has she been all over the map on the war, any positive effect Huckabee would have on the Evangelical Conservatives would serve to exagerate Hillary's already staggering negatives.

McCain Huckabee? I doubt they like each other much.

McCain will make any deal he needs to to become President.

He went to Bob Jones University and made common cause with George W. Bush over the war. He'll make friends with Huckabee if he has to.

I've been hearing McCain and Huckabee actually like each other. And they have actually announced an "alliance" to "get Romney" in New Hampshire.

I'm more and more worried about McCain-Huckabee. Seems like that could both draw independents and fire up the evangelical base. A bad combo for Dems.
