The crimes did not take place in the notorious Abu Ghraib prison but Al Mahmudiya jail south of Baghdad. A court martial took place in mid-May but a statement was released only yesterday. Private Andrew Sting was sentenced to one year in jail and Private Jeremiah Trefney to eight months. Both will receive a bad conduct discharge."
