My conservative relatives were up in arms recently about a proposed ban on adoption by Gay couples in Ohio. My mom, one of my cousins and me said it was a wrong headed and bigotted bill. We were the only ones in the debate who actually knew any homosexual couples. And we all know them to be likely to be far far better parents than many of the traditional-values, biblical literalist types we also know.<BR/><BR/>I'm hoping for a big Democratic victory in 2006.
