Look, I am heterosexual and there is nothing you can do to change that. So why do people think homosexuality is a "condition" than can be "cured" or a deviant behavior that can be modified? The Church says homosexuality is a, "sexual tendency and not an identity." What-everrrrr.

You know, as Freud might point out, all of that sexual repression results in a Church overly obsessed with sex.

// posted by USWestAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6762928.post-1133243995858689712005-11-28T21:59:00.000-08:002005-11-28T21:59:00.000-08:00I still like the joke at the end of "The Aristocra...I still like the joke at the end of "The Aristocrats" the best:

"I was out to dinner and saw a couple of priests dining together at a neighboring table. Does a single homosexual experience make one "gay"? Or is it merely an instance of sin? Clearly, under the old rules, a few acts could be forgiven as sins. And priests were not required to be free of sin or free of lusty thoughts.

The new rules are more strict. Even a single act in the previous three years is now unforgiveable for a priest. And once may not even have "tendencies" or support gay culture. Pretty harsh, if you ask me.Dr. Strangelovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14407042105777411150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6762928.post-1132771886702615682005-11-23T10:51:00.000-08:002005-11-23T10:51:00.000-08:00Are there rules about how long you have to wait af...Are there rules about how long you have to wait after having sex with a woman? What, exactly, counts as "sex" in this context? If you only ashamedly paid for gay sex, rather than having a open relationship and as part of the 'gay culture', is that better or worse?

I can see the T-shirt now: "Priest in Training: 2 years and 362 days to since last Saturday."

Or just: Silence = Silence

// posted by LTGAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
